Sitka Surfboard is a hot surfboard/clothing design company based out of Victoria, B.C. Check out their site. Pretty nice conceptual style. They have added me to their roster of listed artists that have created design for them. It’s an honour as I am in great company. A couple other artists I am posted with are Andy Dixon and Ben Frey. I’ll upload new designs as they get posted on the Sitka site

Here is a short I did for DNTO/CBC. Sook-Yin provided the story and I did the rest. My bud Josh Hart animated it with me. He spun some gold in there!! It was a really fun projects done with some really great people. Thanks DNTO!!

Black and White was screened in the Shorts for Shorties category of the Worldwide Shorts Film Festival. During the question and answer they had after the festival screening I asked everyone to wave for my parents so I could prove to them I was actually there. I jumped into the front row for the pic. It was pretty darn funny!! The kids had a blast. The folks that put the festival on were fantastic. It was a killer experience.

Looks like David and Steven are celebrating again. I am totally honoured that Mondo Media has asked to distribute my Black and White shorts. I have had a lot of fun with the shorts and it is great to see them getting BASHED on Mondo’s youtube channel

This is a promo for a show I created with Jono Howard for March Entertainment (yup…we like to work together) I directed the short, am responsible for the character design, and had a hand in some of the animation. The crazy talented Ivan Rusev did most of the animation. My bud Andre Plante scored sweet tune. I think this one came out pretty darn cute!!

Black and White was also Produced at March Entertainment. I created and directed them. We did 100 eps. in total. They were hilarious to make. Pure nonsense!! I also animated the first 25. The last 75 were animated by Graham Finley and Chris Cherkas. Great guys to work with!!

These shorts have been requested to screen and run in competition at festivals all over the world. I also used the characters to do broadcast ads for the New York International Children’s Film Festival (will post soon).

They are currently being aired with most major online broadcasters. On the list is Mondo Media. I am really excited about this one as I used to animate their shows back in the dot-com days! They will be posting all 100. Check them out here!

If you happen to be in Pizza Pizza in Ontario and hear some screaming…they are also being streamed as part of their video rotation. What could be more soothing than hearing David and Steven while dining on ‘za!

Yam Roll was produced at March Entertainment
I created the show with my bud Jono Howard. I did all of the original design and directed the series. It was a great time! You can still catch the show on CBC It is also being aired on HBO Asia and ABC2 in Australia
I’ll post more online broadcasters as we settle the deals and I get a bit organized.
